Sara co-founded Copperline Wealth Management & Planning with Luke McNeely in 2019. After working together for years, the two found a commonality in delivering an elevated client service model and level of care for their clients. They decided the best way to deliver this quality service and attentiveness to investments was through their own office, so they decided to create Copperline. Prior, she worked in finance since 2009, earning various investment licenses in 2011 and 2012 for her role as Financial Advisor. From large banks to independent firms, the consistency has been how she cares for clients.

Sara was born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2011. She holds the following certifications and licenses: Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, Series 7, and Series 66. She is passionate about the youth in her community and volunteers for CASA, serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. 

Outside of work, Sara enjoys distance running, biking and getting outside in the beautiful country we’re so fortunate to have in Wyoming. She’ll take any excuse to get out in the mountains for a hike or camping trip, especially with her husband and son.

Luke co-founded Copperline Wealth Management along with Sara Schauermann in the fall of 2019.  Prior to founding Copperline, he worked for over a decade in several different roles for major financial firms.  Luke has the client and only the client in mind.  He works to get to know and understand his clients’ needs, wants, and long-term goals in detail.  This type of client relationship ensures that each and every client has the plan they need to ensure the best possible chance at success for their long-term goals.

Luke completed his MBA from Franciscan University of Steubenville in December 2018.  Luke currently supports the Cody, Wyoming community by serving on the board of Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, Wyoming Basset Hound Rescue and the ALM Foundation.  He holds the following certifications and licenses: Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, Series 7, and Series 66.

Living in Wyoming is one of Luke’s greatest adventures.  When not at the office, you can usually find him with his two sons out fishing for their next biggest catch.
